You do not have to be of German descent to join The Springfield Turnverein. We do promote our German heritage and history with our Men's and Ladies Singers, Oktoberfest Festival, German dinners, our History corner, and other German Cultural events.

For many years the club was located in the north end of Springfield on "Round Hill". In 1969, when Route 91 was built, the club relocated to Agawam. The club relocated again in 2013 to Feeding Hills Massachusetts.
