Our Story

The Springfield Turnverein is a German-American club. The Club was formed in 1855 in Springfield Massachusetts, with the goal of promoting physical fitness and to provide a family oriented location for social gatherings for it's members.

For many years the club was located in the north end of Springfield on "Round Hill". In 1969, when Route 91 was built, the club relocated to Agawam. The club relocated again in 2013 to Feeding Hills Massachusetts.

You do not have to be of German descent to join The Springfield Turnverein. We do promote our German heritage and history with our Men's and Ladies Singers, Oktoberfest Festival, German dinners, our History corner, and other German Cultural events.

As of April 12, 2015 we will be open SUNDAYS 12:00 to 5:00pm

Our Website will be redesigned  over the next few weeks to reflect the new changes at the "CLUB"!

Keep checking back !
